Using light and consciousness, which is related to energy therapy, energy medicine, energy healing, psychic healing, spiritual medicine, vibrational medicine or spiritual healing, is a form of alternative medicine that can work in conjunction with traditional medical training to open up new avenues of diagnosis and healing. These are exciting areas as new research in quantum physics, healthcare at the cellular level, and DNA open up possibilities that have previously only been the realm of folklore.
Working With Patient Consciousness
Health and consciousness have become separated in our current healthcare system. As a physician with many years of experience in both research and clinical practice, I speak and teach on the power of utilizing a particular state of consciousness in the healing arena. This is a process whereby the doctor can not only facilitate the biomechanical healing of the body, but can also act as the midwife for change on the emotional-spiritual level.
This seems to be the realm of ‘spontaneous remissions’, and of intuitive diagnosis. The science and research to date indicates a holographic phenomenon, which in no way excludes other models, including non-locality.
Our Place In A Quantum Light Network
We’re inherently attuned to a quantum process and interpret/interface with these surrounding energies unconsciously on a daily basis. The scientific and biological/physiological basis of this, is that our bodies are regulated by and communicate through a light network on a DNA, cellular and enzyme basis.
I propose that on an unconscious basis we interface with these light energies as well as those of the natural world, connecting to the light of the Earth’s magnetic field. Forever bathed in this energy, like fish in water, we are unaware of the currents and tides with which we interact.
We need to understand and consciously work with these energies, accepting the interconnectedness of our physical and nonphysical beings, and the resonances that can develop. In former ages, physicians recognized that true wholeness and healing could only be reached through embracing our own wholeness and acknowledging the innate interconnectedness of all things.
“In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.”
Albert Szent-Györgyi, MD and Nobel Laureate in Medicine
What If We’re All Connected In A Shimmering Web Of Light?
Energy medicine recognizes that our thoughts and emotions, even though difficult to measure using traditional science, obviously exist and can be accessed. The energy of these thoughts and emotions can help in healing. Light makes up our very being. We’re suffused with it, and that light is a form of energy that can be viewed and channeled. It can help restore vitality, joy, and health. This energetic body that each of us has can be the key to helping restore health.
Subtle Energy
Subtle energy is the root of energy medicine. Healers and practitioners of Reiki and other traditional forms of medicine may sense subtle energy even when modern scientific instruments can’t. Energy, like light, lies on a spectrum of low frequency to high frequency.
Using Your Natural Energy
Your body and mind tap into energy automatically. When we talk about energy we refer to the life force that feeds us all. But more than this, energy medicine means moving energy to where the body and spirit need it for harmony and balance.
Traditions like yoga and acupuncture have long focused on manipulating the energy that flows through us, using it to encourage our bodies and minds to heal themselves. Shifting the energy in your body through techniques like these can have a profound impact on the quality of your life. They can improve memory and mental clarity, physical well-being, and emotional health.
Ancient cultures have known about energy medicine for millennia. It’s only recently that our culture has begun to turn its attention back to what the ancients knew all along: healing is more than simply treating physical wounds or physical discomfort like pain.
Energy medicine isn’t something only a few can learn. It’s something that is part of us all, something we can use to better our lives and increase our sense of well-being. We can use it to manage stress, cope with pain, improve our relationships, and lead more fulfilling lives. Using the energy that is part of us is a learnable (and teachable) skill.
